It was March 2023 when my life changed forever. Walking home from work one evening, I discovered a tiny abandoned rabbit huddled in a cramped cage on the sidewalk. He had no food, no water, and was suffering from severe urine scald. His little body trembled, but his eyes—brilliant red like precious rubies—looked up at me with a glimmer of hope.
I couldn't walk away. That night, Ruby came home with me, and our journey together began.
A New Chapter Begins
Ruby wasn't just a rescue—he became family. I wanted to give him the best life possible, so I dove deep into learning everything about rabbit care. I studied animal welfare, bunny behavior, and environmental enrichment. The more I learned, the more I realized: providing the basics isn't enough. Our rabbits deserve spaces where they can truly thrive—hopping, playing, exploring, and expressing their natural behaviors.
Due to his early trauma, Ruby couldn't bond with other rabbits, but that didn't stop me from creating an environment where he could flourish. Through countless experiments and endless adjustments, I discovered what makes a rabbit's living space not just adequate, but genuinely enriching and joyful.

Today, Ruby lives his best life—curious, playful, and genuinely happy. Watching him binky across the floor or contentedly explore his favorite spots fills my heart every single day.
